Miller Communications, Inc., a leading full-service marketing firm, is pleased to announce the recent hire of Debby Kristofco as vice president of business development.
“Debby brings over 16 years of experience in marketing and communications and will be a real asset,” said Scott Miller principal of Miller Communications. Debby has expertise in sales and marketing, business development, public relations, communications and branding and excels in developing marketing strategies, campaigns and lead generation,” continued Miller.
In her previous experience as global marketing and communications director for ibml, Debby was responsible for redesigning and launching a broad-spectrum marketing campaign including a relaunch of the company website, improved social media presence and support activities including direct mail and e-mail campaigns. Debby developed strong strategic partnerships both domestically and internationally.
Debby’s career began with administrative positions with a third-party payor of health benefits in her native West Virginia. Upon coming to Birmingham in 1988 Debby worked in progressively more responsible positions at EBSCO in their marketing department including exhibit management and event planning. Debby was then tapped to lead in the development and operation of a new service center.
Debby holds a variety of professional certifications, is a member of the local chapter of the American Marketing Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Irondale Chamber of Commerce.
“I’m excited about joining Scott and his team. The opportunity to join Miller Communications allows me to pursue business development with the very talented team at Miller Communications whom I’ve long admired,” said Kristofco.
For Magic City Art Connection’s 33rd year, Miller Communications had the pleasure of working with Houston based artist Paul Kremer. Paul’s work has been shown both nationally and internationally, at Cardoza Fine Art, Houston; Site 131, Dallas; Marlborough Chelsea, New York; Peter Makebish Gallery, New York; Palazzo Fruscione, Salerno, Italy; and Fondazione 107, Turin, Italy. It was a wonderful experience working with Paul and his New York based dealer Peter Makebish and having them both in the Magic City.
